Constitution Day

Do you know what we celebrate next Monday and why don't we come to class that day?

Indeed!! IT IS THE DAY OF THE CONSTITUTION.

On the 6th when the Spaniards ratified it through a referendum in which more than 17 million voters participated, of which 91.81% voted in favor.

The activity that we are going to carry out today to commemorate this day is going to be the following:

In groups you will answer the following questions:

What is the most important part of the Constitution?

Is it the separationof powers, the rights and freedoms or both?

What could happen if these wasn't a constitution?

In addition, together we are going to read some of the articles of the constitution that we currently have and each group will add 4 of the most interesting articles.

You have to add the answers to the questions to hang them in the corridor so that everyone can read what is the most important thing that a constitution has and what are the articles that it has in it.

Christmas

Good morning everybody! 

Since the Christmas holidays are coming up, you are going to do an activity to commemorate these holidays.

In groups, you must create a story related to Christmas, using characters such as a snowman. Once you have written it, you must create paper puppets, using the materials you want to decorate it, and represent your story to the rest of your classmates.  Look at these cool puppets !

Peace Day

Friday, 28th January 2022 

Boys and girls, today, as it is the day of Peace and Non-violence, we will dedicate today's classes to carry out an activity on this aspect.

It consists of making a mural entitled “let it rain peace”. Each of you will have two drops of water that you must cut out and decorate with the materials you want. Next, inside you will write a message of peace. The teacher will decorate and cut out the title and the two clouds from which the water drops will hang. Once you have finished it, you will stick the drops under the clouds and explain why you have written that message.

We will have something like this, look how cool!

Andalusia's Day

HAPPY ANDALUSIA'S DAY!

As you know, this day is celebrated on Monday the 28th, but since it is a holiday, we are going to celebrate it on Friday.

Today we have prepared something very special. We are going to make an Escape Room. We've called in the best team of detectives we know: The Scooby Doo Gang!

They are going to help us investigate a case: the disappearance of a famous Andalusian painter. To do this, you have to put yourself in the shoes of a detective and answer the questions correctly and collect the clues to find it.

Book Day

Friday, 22nd April 2022

Hi guys! Today is Book Day and I have prepared an exciting activity for you. It is a creation of an "exquisite corpse" story. I will tell you what is it and how to do it.

The exquisite corpse is a literary creation technique used by surrealist artists. You will do it in groups of 3 people:

• Each team will receive a sheet with a phrase.
• You will read that sentence carefully, and you will have to write the next one.
• Then, you will fold the paper to cover the first sentence, so that only the one you have just created is visible. And you will pass it on to the next team.

And so on, until each team has made its contribution to each story. At the end, we will read the complete stories that have emerged from this game.

Water Party

Wednesday, 22nd June, 2022. 

Hi guys! We are already in the final stretch and as the summer holidays arrive we have decided to hold a Water Party.

In order to attend you must bring the following materials:

• Swimwear
• Sunscreen
• Towel
• Dry clothes to change into
• Water guns and balloons

During today you will go through different activities, with which you will surely have fun and have a great time.

The first activity is a game called “Flying Balloons”. You must go to the nearest fountain and fill some balloons that the teachers will give you. Then, you will form a circle and play pass the balloon. Be careful! If you drop it, the balloon will explode and you will get wet.

For another of the activities in this circuit, you will divide into two or more teams. Each team will have two buckets, one with water and one empty, and a glass. In line and at the signal from the monitor, one person from each line will come out and must fill the glass with the water from the first bucket to transport it to the other, but the coolest thing about this game is that the glass must go on your heads.

Do you know how to play the handkerchief game? Well, this will be our next activity, but with a small change, since instead of a handkerchief, in the center there will be a bucket with balloons filled with water, and the first one to arrive will be able to throw one at their rival. Be very careful not to hurt him!

For the last activity you will divide into groups again. Each group will have a large sponge and two buckets of water. Placed in a row, lying on their back, with their knees bent and the soles of their feet on the ground, the first partner must take the sponge that will be in the bucket full of water with their feet and pass it to the feet of their partner behind. . It is important that you hurry, and do not worry about getting wet.

In addition to all these activities, you will have free time to play with your friends with the material you bring, such as water guns.
